✦ The Problem

We shouldn't have to strap a tiny, glowing computer to our wrists just to understand our own bodies.

Two problems stand between women and the data their bodies have been trying to give them. Both are fixable.

01

The Gender Data Gap

Medicine was built on a body that was never ours.

For most of modern medicine, the male body was the default. Women were excluded from clinical trials and treated as “smaller men” — so conditions that present differently in women went unstudied, underdiagnosed, and waved away. Gigi lived with narcolepsy her whole life and wasn't diagnosed until four years ago, because the research was done on white men and her symptoms never matched the textbook.

1977

The FDA recommends excluding women “of childbearing potential” from early-stage drug trials. The data gap becomes policy.

1993

The NIH Revitalization Act finally requires women be included in federally funded research — decades of blind spots already baked in.

Today

The wearables that followed inherited that blind spot, validated on the same bodies they always measured. Versa closes the gap one woman at a time.

02

The Design Compromise

Right now you choose: track your health, or wear a bulky gadget.

The Tech Trap

Smartwatches trade elegance for data — bulky, masculine screens that pull you out of the moment with a constant drip of notifications. They belong in a sci-fi film, not at a dinner table.

The Fitness Compromise

Rings and bands track beautifully, but they look like exactly what they are: silicone and hardware. They clash with evening wear, the office, and the rest of a real life.

✦ The Solution

Where jewelry meets you.

Screenless wearable intelligence, engineered for the female body — five medical-grade sensors concealed within a form you'd choose for its beauty alone.

01

Screenless by design

No glowing display. No notifications. Just subtle PVD gold plating that reads as the jewelry you already wear — with the technology hidden completely inside.

02

Built for the womans body

Sensors and algorithms tuned to female physiology — cycle phase, basal temperature, hormonal shifts — not retrofitted from a device designed for someone else.

03

Closes the gender data gap

Every wearer makes the picture clearer for the next woman. Research is opt-in only — you own your data, and you decide whether it helps move medicine forward.

✦ In Focus

They built for the wrist.
We build for the woman.

The wearable market offered us rubber bands and "shrink it and pink it" hardware — so women now hunt down discontinued vintage pieces simply to find technology that respects their aesthetic. The demand isn't new. It has been ignored.

The demand has always been here →

✦ The Competition

Everyone else asks you
to give something up.

Six things define a wearable a woman would actually keep on. Versa is the only one that delivers all six.

✦ Our Mission ✦

History ignored our biology.
We’re designing its future.

We're done waiting for medicine to catch up. Every Versa on a wrist makes female physiology a little less invisible — and the data starts now.

01

You own your data

Always. No third-party sales, ever — your reproductive data stays yours, even post-Dobbs.

02

Research is opt-in

Your biology helps the world learn only if and when you choose to share it.

03

Built for her first

Female physiology is the default here — never the edge case, never an afterthought.

50% of clinical trials historically excluded women
6 sensors built for female physiology
1st smart bracelet to unify women's health data
99% heart rate accuracy

FOUNDER

Meet Ayanna

For women, by a woman.

I'm Ayanna Wilson, a senior studying Cognitive Science with a specialization in Computing at UCLA. I built Versa to solve a problem I couldn't ignore: the wearable tech market forces women to constantly choose between aesthetic and function.

My background bridges the gap between complex technical computing and real-world community building. With Versa, I'm not just engineering a piece of smart jewelry—I'm fostering an active network of women through shared wellness goals, exclusive events, and a platform that finally respects our biology.
